The redesign of Ruddles was part of a five year relationship with Greene King which also involved redesigning IPA, Wexford and Greene King.
An old favourite amongst traditional ale drinkers, Ruddles had been left alone for so long it was beginning to fade with a shrinking audience. The revamp called for a radical approach to both structural and graphic branding.
BrandMe’s chunky big neck bottle speaks of no nonsense refreshment, whilst the classic English Oak stamps its reassuring mark. The visual imagery conjures up craft origins; it harnesses the brand’s heritage, its provenance
and natural credentials and brings it up to date with today’s beers.
